Long wait time, staff takes their sweet time.. They don't care about their patients. The emergency room is packed with people sitting here since 2pm and no help.. I been here since 8pm it is now 1:34am and I am still waiting to be seen... Definitely not coming back ever!

I went to the Er on Friday around 10.00 am worst experience ever they get you in triage pretty quick and the er is totally different story I do understand that the worst get seen first well I went in with real bad back pain in the lower back and right leg I was told by the doctor oh well under pain management we need to call your doctor to see what he wants us to do well you could have told me this seven hours ago anyway they ended up giving me a shot in the arm of steroids but my question is I did not get an X-ray or a cat ... read more
A friend had a baby earlier this week at the Pottsville hospital - she had a c-section - she was staying with her parents in hazleton. Today her parents rushed her to the hazleton facility because her belly opened and she is bleeding .... She arrived at the ER and even after being told what the problem was --- they told her to have a seat and the wait time was two hours ..... TWO HOURS - TWO HOURS .... I went to the er on August 5th with severe abdominal pain once in triage I was brought to a room it was so painful Dr Coleman was a great dr they quickly diagnosed what was wrong and was admitted to the 4th floor the staff was wonderful the 5 days I was there I got excellent care and Dr Corrado and Dr Haber were excellent also thanks I appreciate the excellent care I received.
I can not thank the Lehigh Valley ER staff enough for their professionalism . Dr Mann , Dr Schoenfeldt , RN'S Brian , Alex and Rachel acted quickly and professionally when i walked in with my fiancé . He was having weakness in both arms and chest pressure . They stabilized him enough to be transferred to Cedar Crest , Allentown . If it wasn't for the staffs quick n great medical attention Joe's situation with his heart could have ended badly ! Went in the hospital at 6pm 8-22 and finally left At 8am 8-23. It took forever for no dam reason. It took HOURS to clean beds, Explain that one. The waiting room was NASTY, stains on the floors and it smelt horrible. We had to take the pull out chances because there was no room to even sit at some points.
