This is my family, literally... the Ford Claycomo (Clay County Missouri)plant all shifts and the local crowd keep them rolling... rated in top ten from a 1990 or 2000's Entertainment Tonight review. They were established back in the 1950's...I don't remember exact dates, musta been all that rollin...Happy 420
A walk back in time to 1954 , great food anytime of day or night .
Hands down the best diner north of the river. Quality food that's consistently yummy! And they're open 24 hours! Great prices and friendly atmosphere.
Hayes has been a stopping place for my family since it opened. My Grandfather started his day there every morning breakfast and coffee then back around 4 some days to finish his day with coffee. Weekends my dad would stop on our way to the drive in pick up a dozen burgers for us to eat as we watched the movie. As an adult I have spent time there also taking my daughter to eat there. She actually worked there for a while. My husband and I really enjoy going and getting burgers once in a while.
Hamburger steak, eggs hash browns and wheat toast. Haven't been up there in quite a while. Good as allways!
This place is amazing..it never changes. Their burgers are so frickin' good it should be illegal. I try and stop anytime I drive near Kansas City. Well worth a couple hours drive.
