Dr. Al-Azzawi is dedicated to taking care of my health for a year. He preformed surgery on a pre cancerous lump from my colon and is keeping me well informed. I would highly recommend.

Some doctors choose their career paths for the right reasons. They genuinely want to help people. Dr. Al-Azzawi is one of those surgeons. I know because I am a nurse and did my research. Dr. A recently performed major abdominal robotic surgery for colon cancer. I had never had surgery before and was terrified of the complications. He was reassuring, explained everything. Amazed at the outcome. Very little pain. No infection. Short recovery. Competence. Skill. Intelligence. Caring. Great team!
Dr. Al Azzawi performed my colon cancer surgery. I could not have been in better hands. Dr. Al Azzawi is a highly skilled surgeon whose operative skills are matched by his calm, patient and informative demeanor. As per his instructions, I was up and walking the very same day as my surgery which clearly enhanced my recovery time. After two days in the hospital I was able to go home and two weeks later resume limited activity at the gym. His staff, Shurla and Wanda are tremendously supportive.
Dr Al-azzawi is an amazing surgeon! Love Love Love him! I had my whole colon removed and I was very scared but Dr Al-azzawi explained everything and answered all my questions! Even more importantly my surgery was so successful. He was there every step of the way! I had surgery five days ago and today I went shopping, took my dog for a nature walk and went to see friends and family!!
Dr. Al-Azzawi explained my situation so that I easily understood. He drew pictures and answered all of my questions before the surgery. He is an exceptional surgeon. Aside from the precautionary weight lifting restriction after surgery, I experienced no downtime. I felt little or no pain. Friends could hardly believe that I had had a colectomy. His bedside manner is kind. I highly recommend Dr. Al-Azzawi!
