Been going to their chick days for the last 3 years and periodically stop by to see if there are any new chicks to add to our flock. Helpful workers and always great selection of items and animals
The staff are incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. They have all the supplies you need for chickens, horses, and so much more. We just enjoyed adding a clutch of new chicks to our brood of hens. The chick breed variety is amazing. It’s worth an hour drive to get the breed you want. Fortunately, we live nearby so we stop in every other week for supplies.
Such an asset to Escondido! This is a wonderful family-run store. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and helpful. If there were stars to give, I’d give them 5+
What a great store. Super knowledgeable people and extremely helpful. If you haven't attended their annual peep show, it is a must!! A wonderful selection of chicks; even rare breeds.
When a costly mistake was made by one of their employees, Heather was very understanding and helped to rectify the situation. Hawthorne Country Store has always been my favorite feed store, not only because of the products but because of the people who work there. I highly recommend them!
