RecommendedWe did the waterfall hike with Taj as our guide. What an amazing experience. First of all, Taj is a walking encyclopedia. He was so informative and was able to thoroughly answer every single question we had. He offered us a lot of additional info as well and it was fascinating. The actual hike was great but the waterfall swim at the end was unreal. I would recommend Hawaii Forest & Trail over and over again and plan on booking with them when we return.

We we're looking for a relatively easy hike and the Kohala Waterfall Adventure was perfect! Our guide, Taro, explained geography, culture, and plant life all along the way. The day was both fun and fascinating. Hawaii Forest & Trail takes care of everything so you can just enjoy the day. Mahalo!

This was an amazing experience . Our guide Ashley was absolutely amazing . She really the trip very special for us . The views were amazing the hike was perfect the swim in the waterfall was spectacular !!!! Thank you for your expertise and beautiful experience . You guys are the best !!!! I loved it so much I did it s second time 2 days later and loved it again . Our guide Mateo was great and made the trip memorable.
Jeff was amazing- knew so much about natural history, culture, and astronomy. We learned so much, and the sights were a once in a lifetime experience.
Taj is the best guide!! Super patient and funny with my kids!!
Our guide Justin was absolutely awesome!! He was very informative, prepared us for everything, and was very funny. Views were amazing!! Even though it rained, Justin made it work and we were still able to see everything. I highly suggest the sunrise tour and Justin as your guide.
