Our Mauna Kea Summit and Stargazing Adventure was absolutely amazing. Our host and guide, Herondo, was phenomenal with providing pertinent points in his narration throughout the entire tour. We learned several bits of info about Hawaiian myths, gods, goddesses, traditions, and oral language as well as vital information about the history, geology, biology, ecology, topography, etc of the Big Island. Highly recommended.. went on the secret waterfall hike and had Mel as our guide.. she was super fun and knowledgeable. Sights were AMAZING!!
My family and I cannot say enough about Kim, who took us up to the Mauna Kea summit for a sunrise tour. She was so pleasant, knowledgeable, and competent that from the beginning we knew we were in good hands and in for a great adventure. Her humor, storytelling, and planning made the whole trip a delight. Thank you for everything, Kim! It's been a couple of months out, and we're still raving about our experience with you as our guide!
The twilight tour was amazing! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the island, it's rich history and the legends and folklore. They thought of everything: flashlights, rain jackets, blankets, water bottles... and the food they provided was delicious! So worth your time! Wish I had time to do more!
Magnificent views! Reached the summit at sunset! Amazing! Breathtaking! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide! Nice comfy vans! Great stops along the way! Even the catered meal was warm and delicious! During the star gazing our guide served up warm soft brownies and hot chocolate! I finally got to be in snow on the Big Island of Hawaii! From the beach to the summit! Totally worth the price! I had an unforgettable time!
Feb.19th,2018 We did the night volcano tour and it was fantastic. Hiked to the crater floor, walked through a lava tube, met a group of wonderful people and had the best tour guide (Peter) you can imagine. I will recommend this tour to all our coworkers.
Took the Twilight Volcano tour Feb 3. The tour was incredible. Taj, our guide, was terrific. He kept up the energy and excitement for the full 12 hours. He did his best to keep our group away from other tour groups so we could have a more private and separate experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour. We would definitely try the other tours on our next visit. Mahalo!
