RecommendedI have been on several tours with Hawaii Forest and Trail. I have never been disappointed. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Today I went on the zip line. I admit I was frightened. The staff made me feel safe and provided a lot of reassurance. But safety was obviously their first priority.

We did the waterfall and rain forest hike with Mike, he was the prefect guide. We learned a lot about the native flora, fauna and island history. The Offroad portion in the Austrian 6x6 was a lot of fun too!

GREAT day!! Be prepared for lots of walking up & down hills on volcanic rocks, TOTALLY worth it!!! Use the hiking stick they offer as well as the backpack & raincoat if you don’t bring your own! They also have binoculars if you’re an SOB (spouse of birder😜, stole that from someone today!!!) Amazing tour to the national volcano park. Tour guide was really well informed
My boyfriend and I went on the Kohala Waterfall Adventure and it was great! I believe our guide’s name was Mateo. He was very nice and knowledgeable. We got to swim in a waterfall at the end of the tour and he provided us with a great lunch, while sitting across from a gorgeous view. We loved it!

My husband and I had a spectacular experience with Hawaii Forest and Trail. Our adventure hiking up Diamond Head, a picnic breakfast to follow with delicious and authentic Hawaiian cuisine and then a trip to a beautiful lookout to wrap it all up was one of our favorite experiences in Hawaii. Our guide, Peter was one of the nicest and most genuine people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
