Haveli Indian Cuisine – My wife and I went to Haveli a couple weeks back. We really enjoyed it! The waiter made some excellent suggestions, and took the time to explain about the dishes and Indian food in general. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. Unlike some downtown restaurants, Haveli has convenient parking. We live in the area, so it?s great to know we have such a fine spot nearby.
Best Indian Resturant in Atlanta - Food and Service are Great – This is One of Its Kind Indian Food in Downtown Atlanta. The food is really great and truly Indian. Service and Staffs are great and take good care of its customers. Loves to come back for dinner every night when ever in the City. As travelling consultant, this place gives the food of the home away from home.
Overpriced, bad service, bland/mediocre food – The staff is very unfriendly and not at all attentive. I ate there twice and both times the food was bland and uninteresting and I was almost ignored by the staff after finally being seated. My second trip there was for a dinner buffet- which cost me $20! The three vegetarian options were very disappointing. Worse Indian Restaurant – Bad service, food and attitude of manager and cook. They do not like Indian. They charge 15% on each ticket for bad food and service and aspect tip on the top of that!! If you do not pay tip you will hear, "Cheap SOB" I highly do not recommend this restaurant.
Mediocre Indian food – Not as bad as some reviews say, but nothing to rave about. My biggest complaint was that the chicken tikka masala was NOT cooked in a tandoori oven. Still, it wasn't bad food. Good location if you're staying downtown. They are only open until 10:00pm (not 1:00am) on Fridays.
Worst Restauranct Award Winner – The owners don't know how to treat customers. Portions are small. Taste is OK but what matters more in a restaurant is cordial service, which severly lacks here. Go to some other Indian restaurant if you want to have a nice time...........
Never again!!! – With all respects, I feel Haveli is blackspot on Atlanta's Indian community. I went there with few American friends. The food was stale and waiters were rude. We were asked to get out since it was getting late (its a reasonable request; if only it were decently delivered......) I dont know who added these positive comments....the owner himself???
thereids – Something must have changed since the other reviews were written. My wife and I received the best service we have ever had in any restaurant - we also enjoyed the best Indian cuisine we have ever experienced. We have certainly eaten our share of Indian food from the midwest to the beautiful beaches of Florida. If you haven't tried this restauarant lately, you should give it a try again!
The Worst Indian Restaurant Ever!!! – An Awful Dinner experience!!! My Husband and I were disappointed from the minute we walked in. It took 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. There were only 4 employees cleaning and serving the tables on a Saturday night. Upon being seated it took 20 minutes before we were served water.
