We sent our 10 month old Golden Retriever to stay with Carol for 4 weeks for an extensive training program and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I we have ever made regarding our pets. Our dog went to Carol as a rambunctious big puppy with poor manners and a great deal of difficulty walking on a leash in a civilized fashion. Carol has been a lifesaver for us. We found her training dogs at the Circle C soccer fields and were amazed at how controlled they all were. We struck up a conversation and eventually hired her to come to our home and train our little Boxer mix. Within 3 sessions Roxy was doing advanced commands that Carol said "show dogs" were expected to do (our dog is not a show dog. lol). I've known Carol for some time now, and have seen her in action with her dog as well as how she interacts with several dogs at a time. She's also helped me with my own doggie issues. She's extremely knowledgable about dogs and should be everyone's go-to resource for dog help.

Bad experience – We sent our Boston Terrier to be trained for two weeks. While in Carol's care, he was supposely attacked by another dog in the neighborhood while being walked. I searched and searched for that dog and had several of our friends that live in the area do the same. Never could find it. We had to put our dog down because of this attack, he was shaken and had issues that could not be corrected. Awesome Trainer; New South Austin Location or comes to you – Need a great dog trainer in the Austin area? Carol is the one! She has been awesome with our two rescue dogs. They love training with her and always want to do more. One has been through basic obedience and is ready for more advanced stuff like rally and agility training. The other is in the midst of her basic obedience and is learning very quickly. Make sure you do your homework that Carol gives between lessons. It really does help the dog's progression!

Austin's best personal dog trainer – Anyone who knows me knows my big yellow lab Mr. Buddy Buddy. Before Carol worked with Buddy I had tried to train him with a plethora of training aids and styles nothing seemed to work. Every time someone left the house, this dog would create a swimming pool with his saliva in front of the door, and would scratch wooden doors into sawdust. Thank you! – Carol was great with Emma, our stubborn Old English Bulldogge. Emma wasn't very social with other dogs when we rescued her. Carol got her to be a great dog with other dogs, our cats and with everyone she meets. Emma was stubborn student but we now have a great, loving, well behaved dog! Thanks Carol! Great Training – I've been really happy with my dog (Kyrsta) since we trained with Carol. She really helped me understand my dog, and how to get the most out of her. Anywhere I go, we get compliments. We've come a long way - before, I couldn't take her anywhere without her barking and pulling towards other dogs. Now, she is polite -- she's interested in everything, but she listens to me now instead of pulling me over.

There's noone better! – My dog (Gus) was an INSANE hound mix. We failed training class (we were asked to leave). There was no reaching him when other dogs were around. Carol changed that! She showed me why he acted the way he did, and how to get his attention (and keep it!). Now people compliment me on how well-behaved Gus is, even in a busy cafe!
