Dr. Hathaway is one of the worst doctors I've had the misfortune of working with. His arrogance prevents him from thinking outside of the box, his demeanor subpar, and above all else.. his skill level and critical thinking on an intense infection I was battling was extremely poor. He had the audacity to tell me that the kidney pain I was feeling was just back pain after I had just been treated by another doctor for sepsis. It turns out my kidney had ruptured. Very professional, just an all around nice guy. If he ever stops coming to Norfolk, I will def travel to Yankton to see him. Several years ago, my wife learned that she had a kidney stone and was in great pain. We called him in Yankton, explained our problem and he said to come up immediately, no appointment was needed.
Very arrogant demeanor and in too much of a hurry. Did not make me feel comfortable. I answered a course of questions asked by the nurse before he came in the room. However, when he entered the room and asked me about my condition, the condition he asked me about was not the condition I was there for. What he had interrupted from the nurse wasn't why I was in the office at all.
