I've eaten at Harvey's on Castro countless times--decent food but overpriced! Today, I was outside Harvey's and dashed in to use the restroom. I was a quickly greeted by a bartender, "Hey, Amigo. That door's not for customers and the restroom is for customers only so you need to go." Well, you can bet I'll never be a customer there again!
I've eaten here many times before on trips to San Fran but today was terrible. Ignored at the door by wait staff, eventually acknowledged, the waiter pointed to a dirty table in the window where I sat for 10 mins with no menu, no drink - staff buzzy around clearly not interested in serving me. After 10 minutes I got up and left.
In our two weeks visiting of SF the Harvey's was our favorite locatin. We felt us very welcome. The food was always good and the service are friendly all the time. Thumbs up!
