This from a long term tenant. If you work hard for your money and are OK with giving it to an absolutely incompetent absolute slumlord, this is the place for you. The worst tenements in the city (any city) is better than this. Thing is, it was not always this way. Now, there is not a proper working extior lock (one door has been broken/non-functional) for five (5) years. The other two barely qualify as functional. Harvest property in Ellington, meadow brook road is one place you want to think before applying to rent! Slow snow removal, maintenance take their time or never show up , they wil charge interest on late fees if your payment goes in late and instead of one time late fee, they will put interest n double interest on your balance due and if you move out getting your security deposit will be difficult! If your apartment have mold or no hot water, good luck if they show up especially if you’re month to month !

I live in the Berkshire Mills owned by this company. The worst place to live, poorly maintained. water problems, plumbing, heat, cooling, drains and the list goes on. everything is botched and slapped with a band aid, the rent rates are horrible for saying this building has never been updated since the day it opened. The original green carpet is in the hallways from like 30 years ago, SO GROSS!! The heat and A/C in this building is ELECTRIC!! YOU PAY FOR!! do not buy into the "partialy" paid for bit.
