Nice upscale sushi place with good quality sushi and rolls. We were a little skeptical of getting sushi in Springfield, MO as visitors who live in California. We were pleasantly surprised to find a gem of a sushi spot near our hotel. It’s also an upscale place with nice decor. And they use real chopsticks as well. This is one of a best restaurant in springfield. Nice ambiance and exquisite service. Sushi was top notch and sashimi is better than any other places. I truly recommend this place.

Great! I've become hooked on the Jurassic Park sushi roll, as well as the volcano roll (which comes out on fire!!!) and sex and the city roll. The sashimi is also great and always fresh and delicious. The ambiance is great, peaceful and tranquil yet contemporary and fun at the same time. Sushi is obviously my favorite food to order, but the soba and other entrees are also great, and the tempura is to die for. The miso soup is probably the best I've had here in Springfield. Not much else to say except you should try it!
Waiters rip you off! My husband and I recently dined at Kai (same owners as Harunos) and our waiter gave himself a 25% tip on our debit card over and above the 20% cash tip we gave. We have called four days in a row to complain, but the manager is always"unavailable". They did refund us for the "overcharge", but we have yet to speak to an actual manager. Short of driving into the restaurant to demand a full refund, we don't expect to get a call back at this point. We leave a message every day!
Incredible food Well, this place is prety awsome! drinks here are great. From traditional drinks to the specialties they are all made well and prompt. The food is top notch and so is the service.

Excellent We first went to try their martini bar but eventually fell in love with their sushi, mainly the "o my god roll." The service is always excellent. They go out of their way to take care of you. The atmosphere is relaxing with live jazz on the weekends. We have made it one of favorites that we visit at least once a week. PROS: Service, Food, Atmosphere. CONS: Drinks are pricey
