My husband and I just had the most delicious late night sushi. Our server Gabriel was attentive and friendly even though he appeared to have the whole section to himself. Earlier today we ate at another local well known steakhouse recognized for their service and quality. We left underwhelmed and disappointed in the food. After dining at Haruno we spent less money for more food and had a much better service experience. Thank you Gabriel, and Haruno.
After eating in this establishment for 8 years, I was told that my 8 year old was not welcome because we brought her outside food in. I suppose the $60 meal that the rest of my family consumed was not enough to overcome the grill cheese we brought in. Luckily there are plenty of other sushi establishments in Springfield.
Haruno was highly recommended and we must say, it surpassed our expectations! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated. The decor is amazingly gorgeous! And the sushi was so delicious! All of that can mean nothing to me if our waiter is horrible, lucky for us Ethan was the best! Very friendly, well groomed and gave us exceptional recommendations! This is definitely our all time favorite spot since moving from Texas!
Usually our go to spot for sushi but it's been a bad experience the last couple times we have visited. My girlfriend and I normally go there about once or twice a week but the last 6 months we have been about three times. This is because of the staff being overworked or too busy which is totally fine but when it takes ten minutes to take an order or forget to take a drink order that is not acceptable.
