I have been a patient of Dr Hartsough for many years. I have always been happy with my treatment (s) until recently. I feel like Dr Hartsough has become a sales person over her physician roll. I was seen for eczema recently and the possibility of treatment for wrinkles. I requested Retin A, and was informed that it would not do what I was looking for but Juvederm filler would and that it lasts for 2 years!! I have been a patient since 2011 starting my journey with acne; after 2 years of experimentation she recommended Acutane which worked best (though absolutely horrible). Fast forward to 2018 where I came in after 2 years of OTC care to ask for help on my more cystic prone areas... she spent little more than 5 minutes with me and gave me an ointment that I HAD TO CALL FOR, wait a month to receive, and see no results. For a woman who has EXTENSIVE records of me... this was a pathetic.

I was concerned that a spot on my nose might be cancerous. I called for an appointment expecting a 4-6 week wait, but was able to see Shannon the same day! I know I was very lucky they had a cancellation. Shannon was extremely nice and very knowledgeable and assured me that I just had a cherry angioma. It was treated quickly and I was out the door in about 30 minutes. I was very thankful not to have to worry for weeks.

My daughter has a rash on her face so we went to Dr. Hartsough do to word of mouth of her being one of the best in Rockford. She put her on an anitiotic for 3 weeks and the medicine didn't work. We went yesterday for another appointment and she said there isn't anything she can do for her. We were there 5 minutes. She charged me $130 just to say she can't do nothing to help my daughter! I'm furious that for one I got charged for the visit and two she didn't try anything else. NEVER AGAIN!

I can't believe that a business like this could be open and seeing patients in 2016! Not an ounce of professionalism. I called to complain about them scheduling my appointment on thier LUNCH HOUR and she said 'well, leave a message and if we don't call you back YOU can call us again!!" Seriously??
