Would not recommend. We hired Tom for a pool renovation (plaster, flagstone coping, tile, mastic) for $8,600. They did a terrible job. The plaster developed white spots in less than a year. The flagstone coping was coming loose with mortar crumbling and cracking within a few months. Called them back for warranty work. They sent out Bevis and Butthead who basically just made a mess. They broke several tile and flagstone coping is doing the same thing. Now, they don't return my calls or answer my texts. Very disappointin... read more

I do NOT recommend using Hartsell Pool company. They do not stand behind their work. They installed new plaster and tile for my pool, over $8,000 project. Within a year, the pool developed white spots. I had several pool contractors look at the pool. They all indicated the white spots developed and would continue to get worse because of faulty installation. Excellent service and work. Tom Hartsell does it right. He renovated our pool with new gunite, underwater light and tile. We couldn't be any prouder of the work he did. Tom Hartsell also stayed in constant contact with us. Highly recommend!!!

Pool & Spa Renovation: Gunite and tile; turned spa into a beautiful tanning ledge with fountains; replaced mastic; diving board removal - can barely tell it was there;. Came out within days of signing contract and project was complete within, I think 2 - 3 weeks. Did chemicals and brushed sides of pool every other day for the last 1 1/2 weeks.
