The bar upstairs at Harry's is done in a cozy library style. The staff is really great - the butlers for the library - just waiting to serve. The drinks are perfect. A martini will have a little frosted ice on top. The only thing missing is a fire place. The food is excellent and always cooked to order.
Great food, nice ambience but even with reservations we were seated by the door even though it was a slow night and there were plenty of other tables. New hostess was being trained in the middle of dinner which detracted from the experience. I also noticed the tablecloths weren't changed between guests which was disappointing. I guess it was a slow evening so there was one server for all the tables. Food was great; service/attention to details (especially for the price) needs to improve.
Probably a bad day for the restaurant because the service was really non existent to indifferent, and the fog -spinach omelet - was flavorless. Tables are too close together, so you feel like you are all sitting and conversing together.
Frank was awesome and very accommodating to us for our Anniversary dinner. The restaurant is very exquisite and nicely laid out. The food was tremendous... NY Strip, medium well, with the Mussels as an appetizer is the way to go!!!. We'll be back when we come down again.
Delicious meal and wonderful service. I've been here before and knew how good everything was. Sadly, they no longer have valet parking, so our party got split up as the driver searched for parking, which wasn't easy since it was the weekend of the Sailboat Show and a home Navy Game! All worked out well and we had a lovely evening. We will certainly be back!
Fabulous spot for a nice meal.
