I would never recommend this doctor. I THINK HES IN IT ONLY FOR THE MONEY HE DOESNT CARE FOR HIS PATIENTS. He very rude doesnt listen well I have no other choice but to see him and i dread going every time. I dont think he knows my name after 2 years of seening him. He gave 2 prescriptions that dont mix and i was so sick for all my vaction. I finally googled up information and figured it out myself because he couldnt. Horrible...
He regularly writes prescriptions incorrectly, which in my opinion is very dangerous and incompetent. He has written me prescriptions for meds I no longer take, has misdated prescriptions rendering them unfillable, and frequently fails to write prescriptions for all the meds I'm on--he forgets one or two meds and I then spend several days trying to reach him to fix his mistake. He pushes pills at the highest dose despite my history of drug dependence. He also rushes through appointments.
very poor organization, lack of knowledge about basic information (secretary... also no help at all)
He is not flexible. His office billing and scheduling is very unorganized. Appointments are set without knowledge of patient and then he charges a no-show fee. He will not listen to the situation and waive that no-show fee. He charged us as repeat patients "new patient" fees because of a couple year gap in treatment, but we went back to him because he would know history on our situations. Because of these issues he has lost two patients.
Listens carefully and compassionately. Takes time to consider different treatment options, both medication and lifestyle changes. Up to date on research. Great doc!
Dr Jensen ignored me when I left a message to say that I was not safe. Thank God I did not have enough meds available to kill myself with and I ended up calling a hotline. He is rude and arrogant talks about himself rather than my problems and makes multiple mistakes on prescriptions. He is no longer my doctor. Do yourself a favor and keep shopping.
As office staff and doctor do not return phone calls, nor keep appointments created precisely to speak about health condition, we are left in the lurch...no doctor, no support. It is hard to believe that Dr J went into this line of work. Add to that, I believe his daughter is his office manager, with no apparent experience with patient care, and lacks the same conscientious trait so needed in a Psychiatrist, follow up with details, (like answering the phone, returning phone calls, etc)
Dr. Jensen is very thorough and very encouraging. I believe he really wants to see me feel better.
