Dr. Jensen has helped me 4 / 5 years and I really appreciated his approach. He's very laid-back and down-to-earth, lets me control the narrative when I want to, holds me accountable if I say I'm going to do something.
Arrogant, intolerant of views that differ from his. Quirky, can be rude. If you are looking for a psychiatrist, I recommend you consider others in town. His rating looks acceptable because of friendly staff, easy appointments, etc. Rating regarding clinical expertise is quite low. I refused to pay his bill, opting to discuss that in court. At which time, since he had no defense regarding his non-professional behavior, he "gave in" and refrained from billing me.
Be prepared to get ripped off. You should not talk or try to talk in his office, because he wants to talk About himself. Also he doesn’t follow through with his plans for medication, and has no problem putting you in a health risk.
I have been seeing Dr. Jensen for about two years. I have had nothing but a positive experience and he has always been kind, understanding and very professional. He uses our time together to ask questions to understand my needs and always offers exceptional advice and guidance. He has most certainly helped me look inward and hold myself accountable on a few issues where I had been dropping the ball which helped me create better relationships and a closer marriage.
I have been seeing Dr. Harris Jensen for 4 years now. He is extremely great at what he does. I started out with the idea of finding a new Psychiatrist. I didn't like the idea. I started to visit with Dr. Jensen, and within a 6 month period I knew he was the one. I continue to visit him on a regular bases. He is very helpful, he listens to troubles, and he gives great suggestion on how to handle things out of your control. Honestly I have and will continue to spread the word to family and friends
Dr. Jensen is a quack. Within two weeks he had me from a relatively healthy brain chemistry to sleeping 20 out of the 24 hours of the day and having extreme depressive episodes. His lack of understanding of the side effects of his prescriptions is concerning and his treatment of patients is appalling. While voiceing concerns about being prescribed a new sleep medicatipn, he pointed to a chart showing O wasn't on my old meds and asked if I could read. Dr. Jensen's antiquated services demonstrate
I am glad I didn't pay attention to some of the negative reviews written here because Dr. Jensen is wonderful. My experience with him over the past year has been completely divergent from the negative reviews. He is serious about helping you get better so he doesn't do a lot of hand holding, poor you "treatment" but he will diagnose what is going on physiologically and assist you with medication and psychological techniques that work. I can't recommend him enough.
Dr. Harris Jensen M.D. is not only professional - he cares? about his patients. He came highly recommended and I now recommend Dr. Harris Jensen M.D., to any patient who is seeking sincere psychiatric help. I have been a patient for four months and he has changed my life.
Dr. Jensen came highly recommended by our primary physician. Dr. Jensen has been extremely helpful and available to assist with medication adjustment for my fathers' BiPolar diagnosis.
