Food was good but when there’s people doing drugs in the bathrooms and the staff does nothing about it and men in both bathrooms it is NOT for kids or anyone who just wants a good meal

You didn't see anyone doing drugs in the bathrooms which I already knew because if they were even though they weren't I'm sure they would lock the door. Spread your lies elsewhere. When its busy men and women use both bathrooms if their empty that happens everywhere.
Would not let us in because we did not have a face mask on. You can’t wear a mask to eat so they don’t need my business! Eat here every time we vacation I WILL NOT EVER BE BACK!

The Governor of Virginia has mandated No Mask No Service. Sorry you don't understand the importance of this. In addition to not caring about other people's health your group of 11 all without masks were rude and disrespectful to my staff. That's why you were asked to leave and are no longer welcome at Harpoon's.

This longtime neighborhood seafood bar has never let me down. Consistently good food, excellent service, low-key, no frills, good prices, and less crowded than the seasonal boardwalk standards.
The food was delicious but the wait was horrendous for a 3 hour wait
Enjoyable and just as good as I remember from more than 2 decades ago.

Yes, we have been very busy. Food can take 30 to 60 minutes during our hi times. We are not a fast food restaurant everything is prepared fresh by hand. Staff always informs customers of this ahead of time in case they don't want to wait. We had and hour wait for a table last night and a line all the way to the street.
