Great place to go if you love getting showered in beer! Their faulty beer taps don't exactly work that well and there's a good chance you'll end up with an expensive dry cleaning bill. Jake (manager) handled the situation extremely poorly and called us "assholes" for the incident. Casey also refused to offer much help. Absolutely amazed at the lack of respect for the customer at this place, my only advice for management is to get a college degree.
Great food, great drinks, great service! Love the new look. A must visit bar in East Lansing. I highly recommend Harper's!
Great Food! Great Atmosphere !!! Affordable prices! And the renovations look awesome! I definitley enjoy the new self pouring beer draft tables!
We waited at a table for over 20 minutes to be greeted in some way but that never happened. I would understand if the place was busy, but it was not. It was almost 7pm on a weekday. We watched several servers sit down at tables with friends or get groped by boyfriends at the bar. The bartenders were also busy on their phones. I went to the bar, ordered drinks and our food. I attended this bar about a week ago and was wrongfully removed from the bar because of an altercation between people i happened to be near. While i was being pushed outside of the bar i asked repeatedly for the staff to atleast return my coat to me that was left on my seat. They refused all requests and then would not allow my friends to bring my coat out to me while i stood on the sidewalk in the cold. Although a very cool atmosphere, their drinks are very weak, I've seen a mouse piss more than they put in a glass
Sunday afternoon..Two mayb 3 waitstaff visible..Never got approached for service, so we left.
The food was fantastic, great server (Brandon), and cool atmosphere. The basil mayonnaise is killer! The table taps are pretty nice.
