Roaches out of every corner. Very cheap apartments and poorly cleaned after previous tenants. Painted over bugs in the bedroom and flooding anytime it rains. Not a great place to live. Paper thin walls and neighbors running whole businesses out of their apartments with foot traffic constantly going in and out.
We’ve lived here since October. They allowed us to move in early, and they are pet friendly. HL is far better than other similarly priced apartments we’ve lived at. It’s clean; we’ve had no issues with mold or insects. There’s regular pest control and maintenance is responsive. Our apartment manager seems invested in continuing to improve the complex. The valet trash service can be inconsistent, but there are multiple dumpsters available if needed, so it hasn’t been a big issue for us.
The new office lady Elvia is absolutely awful has no empathy or a heart for her maintenance guy nor her tenants. My A/C went out on Tuesday and wasn’t fixed till Friday. She didn’t send out a HVAC TECHNICIAN till day 3 of trying to fix the A/C. She said he’d be out first thing in the morning, but he didn’t come out till nearly 2pm. And wasn’t fixed till day 4.
