RecommendedJohn, the owner and chief mechanic at Harpers Bike Shop, and his staff are awesome. I’m on a 2,450 mile cross country bike trip and suddenly experienced a problem with the hub on my rear wheel. I detoured to Harpers, and John immediately moved me to the front of his repairs for that day ... and fixed my wheel. The problem — a bone-dry freewheel hub. We looked to buy his and hers mountain bikes this summer. Easy decision to buy from Harper's. Shawn and Jon have a great operation. They, along with Jeff and Luke, are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. All were more than happy to answer any questions we had before buying, helped steer us each to good fits for our intended riding and offered several suggestions for places to ride. They are not just sellers of bikes but are great ambassadors for the sport. Would highly recommend Harper's.
