We had a wonderful night at The Villa. We were there to celebrate birthdays, and even though we were late and held up the room longer than I am sure they bargained for, they were very gracious. The wait staff had that perfect blend of professional and friendly that many restaurants try for and few accomplish. The food was outstanding. We finally have a real dining experience in Lake Charles! This isn't your every day one note Italian place where you load up on bread and cheese. This is food with a statement. Walking into The Villa feels like stepping into a hip modern restaurant you would find in Austin, yet without the thin layer of pretentiousness. Best lasagne in the Chuck! Love the atmosphere and service was great. A little pricey, so I'll have to try lunchtime meals on my budget.
