I was seen in a timely manner, Dr Gagneja is very good at explaining health care issues and making recommendations.
Dr Gagneja while professional is very personable and takes the time to answer my questions. I feel like my doctor truly has my well-being as the goal of our interactions.
Dr Gagneja took the time to evaluate my GERD/Esopageal issues & was able to help improve my issues greatly, better than any other GI doctors I’ve ever seen. I was able to reduce my medications, no longer have Esophageal pain and no longer need to sleep on a wedge.

Dr Gagneja was very interested in what I had to say and he presented a friendly and reassuring demeanor. I chose him because of his many academic awards and studies as well as his expertise in Barrett’s Esophagus, so I was pleasantly surprised to find he was personable as well. He has developed instructions for procedures which makes the preparation much less of an ordeal. The morning of he took time to greet and reassure me. I highly recommend Dr. Gagneja.

Corrected a diagnosis by another doctor. I was very happy to learn that my pancreas was NOT digesting itself.
Dr. Gagneja did not complete the follow up with my husband after he had bile duct stents placed. The end result was that my husband went into septic shock. We have since changed doctors.
My initial visits with Dr. Gagneja went well, and he was able to make a diagnosis which I have no reason to dispute so far. However, further visits felt very rushed, and during my last visit he seemed visibly impatient and even interrupted me while I was describing my symptoms. He also insisted on an endoscopy before trying other options after I already had one in the last 6 months. Will not be going back.
