I've been eating Cinncinati chili Mac at hard times in Alexandria since the 1980s! My wife and I often return from PA for a romantic, and simple dinner. It's the place where we kindled our new relationship so Hard Times is one of our all time favorites!
Love this place. Best chili hands down. Simple comfort food perfected. First place I ever had chili Mac. My favorite is Terilinga Red, however, try mixing it with Texas or Cincinnati. Chili nachos are awesome.
The service was not very good. The waiter gave us the wrong drinks and did not give us our food in a timely manner. Afterwards, my friend and I had diarrhea after eating there.
Our waitress was outstanding, and the Mustang Sally beer was great! I would go there to eat again!
