I speak for all those on the floor seating- "Ya'll need to get an elevated stage."
The way that the crowed was handled was great and the venue was beautiful. Even though we weren't in the very front, I had a great view of the band and the sound was amazing. Really awesome night and I'd love to go to another show there again.
We had front row seats to see Dream Theater, while the band was fantastic, security personnel are straight up jerks. The band doesn't forbid pictures, they actually encourage them to be shared on their Instagram page. The gestapo-like security 'lady' was so rude and hateful, but was very good at enforcing the ridiculous rule that the venue had of no pictures or video . What's the harm in pictures? I get no flash or even no video, but non-flash pictures not allowed? Come on, we didn't pay ~$400 to be treated like crap and thr... read more
We saw The 1975 last night. Every seat in the place is a good seat. I had a hard time finding the Merch area but asked a security person and she directed me where to go. And it took over an hour to get into the venue through security. Luckily we found our seat right as Coin, the opening act, went on stage.
I've eaten here a few times and always found it to be good. However, this time we had problems. The drinks were half full of ice, we got the wrong side dish, my husbands burger looked nothing like the picture and he said it tasted even worse. All our food was lukewarm at best. The waitress came to check on us about 12 times - although better than last time when she sat at our table for a chat (no - we didn't know her!) Having not had a great meal, we opted for no desert, but had coffee which was cold.
Had an amazing time experiencing one of my favorite bands the 1975! LOVED IT!!
First time at this venue despite visiting the Universal area a fair few times - excellent intimate venue and fabulous to see the B52's up close and personal - I tend to agree with the other comments about the security team but appreciate that it's a difficult call around video / camera team...
I really like the venue almost all the staff are fantastic ,friendly and helpful Great it brings in more choices of big names . I love album sides also
I thought the venue was fabulous. No matter where you sit is a good view. It was so much fun to see the B52's there. The staff were all friendly. Then you can walk around City walk after the concert....the party continues.
