While in Texas for a week for a work conference, we asked the concierge where a good bbq eatery was. She recommended Hard Eight. We knew we were in for a treat when we saw the billows of smoke, stacks of smoke wood, and the smell. Oh, the heavenly smell! With a lot to choose from, our group tried a little of everything. Now, our hometown is host to one of the KCBS summer competition stops, the South Carolina Festival of Discovery. Their food rivaled what we have eaten there. Next time I’m in town, this will be a must!

The baked potato and brisket was delicious!
Food was delicious but definitely don't eat with your eyes , so much food
I enjoyed the brisket, the ribs, the chicken, tge sausage. Don’t forget the pinto beans in the bavk if the room. They are complimentary!

When in Texas you have to eat BBQ! This place was great. Food was so delicious, staff were outgoing and friendly and the atmosphere was terrific! Highly recommend you stop in if you are ever in the DFW area.
Beer was cold. Brisket was Smokey. Mac and cheese was tasty.
