Beautiful setting good service but I was ill all night not sure if related to my dinner
We had a party of 10 yesterday for brunch to celebrate my Grandma's 90th birthday. Every single person was extremely pleased with their experience. The food was amazing as well as the service. Even the valet parking attendants were very accommodating! Would definitely recommend!

While on a short trip to Milwaukee, we decided to try this restaurant based on location and trip advisor reviews. We decided to check out Harbor House for lunch yesterday. We tried a variety of things off the menu they were all overwhelmingly bland. The lobster and shrimp dishes were overcooked and had no flavor. Staff was attentive and the atmosphere is nice (the views are great), however, for the price we expected the food to be better. We were overcharged for an item, full size vs. half size for a salad-- so buyers beware. The bread seemed to be typical heat and eat, and the mashed potatoes were just blah... This was my first visit and it didn't disappoint me. My husband and I were here with visitors from Guatemala who work for my husband's company. Harbor House is elegant yet comfortable. Wait staff was friendly yet professional, although we had to wait very long to get a second round of drinks (probably 45 minutes.) It's always a treat to go to Harbor House. The entire staff treats each guest as if they were the only customer in the place. Wonderfully prepared entrees and a fabulous oyster selection!
