Harbach Lofts-you should live here! I have lived at Harbach Lofts for the past 2 years. Due to a job relocation, I have to leave Des Moines. I couldn't be more sorry to leave this place. I have enjoyed all the amenities Harbach and the location have to offer. The access to all the Des Moines art, music scene, Cubs games, festivals, and restaurants are in this location. You couldn't ask for better community or study space I moved up to DSM from the south for medical school and couldn't be happier with my choice to live at Harbach for the past two years. I have a 5th floor studio in Building B that has served as an amazing study space: it's quiet; there's coffee at St. Kilda downstairs or across the street at DSM Brew; and if I need a change of scenery I can go downstairs to the community area where there is wifi, a large table, and a glass wall to write things out on. RecommendedLove Harbach Lofts. Have used them twice for a photo shoot. Annesa, the building manager, is extremely accommodating and great to work with. The building is fantastic as well! The owners did an amazing job of blending original elements of the building with modern features. Definitely a place to check out if you want to live in downtown.
Yes, you want to live here I've said it several times, but I'll say it again - you won't find a place like this anywhere downtown and it's totally worth it. After moving in with my boyfriend in August (we have a two bedroom in Building A and absolutely love it) we've been so happy that we stayed here at Harbach instead of going somewhere else (he lived in a one bedroom in Building A until we moved in together). Excellent Management, Incredible Property, Friendly Neighbors Before moving to DSM, I toured 6 different properties in the area and ended up at Harbach Lofts. I’m incredibly glad that I did because of a few main reasons: 1. The property is super cool. The owners clearly looked into every detail and spared no expense when renovating this old furniture factory into lofts.
