John and Leighsa are amazing people who will light up your day. They have a positive outlook that shows up in everything around them. They are perfectionists and artists in their work and it shows in every detail of the cabins. They are also very informative of the local area and happy to point you in good directions. We are repeat guests and highly suggest a stay at the happy yaker.
Wonderful little cottages right next to Rock Island. The place is kept immaculate and the owners are some of the kindest outgoing people you will ever meet. You can really tell they take pride in what they do there.
Beautifully furnished cabins in a quiet woodsy setting with the best hosts one could hope for!
The cottages are so nice. You can tell instantly that love and time went into building them. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed this get away weekend in McMinnville. Staying here has been a unique and warm treat! Oh, don't forget to eat at Foglight Foodhouse which is walking distance from the cottages. Amazing, beautiful falls and trails are just up the road.

We loved Happy Yakker cabins and their wonderful owners! Extremely clean and the woodwork and decor was fabulous! Convenient to Park and restaurants too.
We, Madison County Fire and Rescue, stayed here for a couple days for some training we were doing. Our cottages were beyond any expectations we had...super clean, very nice and comfortable and the owners John and Leighsa were the most awesome, friendly and accommodating host/hostess you could ever possibly imagine. Cannot wait to go back and visit!! Highly recommended for anyone headed that way!!
