The salesman Mark Murray had me watch and listen to an hour of videos and sales pitches which included the owner of "Hansons" crying about the death of his father, the salesman asked me if I needed a tissue. I should have relized at this point he was a trained scam artist, he (Mark) gave me the quotes and told me I wouldnt get these discounts unless I signed and paid before he walked out my front door! I had their windows installed in 04. They are great windows by Guardian. The sales men were very pushy and promised that after the windows were installed; they would clean up and follow up to verify that we are pleased with the job. I had scratches under every window sill due to their carpenters belts; they did a horrible job cleaning up, and never followed up after the install. I just had new windows installed by Hansons 2 months ago and boy - what a difference they have made. Our Hansons Windows installers were a couple minutes early which was fine with us. It was very cold and snowy but they were careful not to make a mess in our house. Both the installers and our salesman were very courteous and professional. Additionally, our rep was not overly aggressive which is what we had anticipated. He actually assisted us with a 2007 problem we had with Hansons and resolved it to our satisfaction. He gave us clear expectations and worked with us. The exterior of our home was such a mess before we had Hansons Windows install vinyl siding. Our previous siding was chipped, dated, and unflattering. The day our new siding was installed, we were happy to display our 1-800-hansons windows lawn sign because we were so proud of and happy with the work that they did. Our experience with 1-800-HANSONS has been great! We have a new roof, garage, windows and our siding will be installed tomorrow. The entire procedure from start to finish is running so smoothly; I truly am amazed with how organized and helpful the employees involved are, and how well our turnout has been. I would recommend Hansons Windows to ANYONE who has home improvement needs.
DONT TRUST THESE GUYS. They are classic con men. They got my elderly parents. Made them think that they were missing out on the deal of the century if they didnt sign with them on their first visit even though I made my parents promise to shop around. THEY ARE VERY CONVINCING AND DECEPTIVE. They paid \$9,000 for 11 windows which is a total rip off for cheap vinyl windows and has had nothing but problems.
