Had 3visits with Dr.Hannoush and he was very professional takes time to explain my surgical procedures to me answers all my questions I would recommend him to anyone overall good experience with the Dr.Hannoush and the staff .
I have had 2 visits and several with his staffers. I have known this Doctor for quite some time. I work in the medical field and my lithmus test is time and reputation amongst your peers. He has been very thorough, upfront and no sugar coating. Under his care, you have to be a willing participant in the plan. I thoroughly agree with the review that found Dr. Hannoush to be "rude, arrogant, condescending, and disrespectful." Astonishingly, he displayed a hair-trigger temper. He had not read the report from my primary care physician. He was reluctant to answer any questions. For my operation, I chose another surgeon, who was courteous, experienced, and entirely satisfactory.

I had a great experience with Dr.Edward Hannoush and his team during my recent hiatal hernia repair at Hartford Hospital. Absolutely everyone I encountered was very professional and nice to me. Highly Recommend!
Dr Hannoush seemed rushed to recommend the Gastric Sleeve Surgery for me. I explained my severe gastric reflux, therefore, the best surgery should have been Gastric Bypass.. I am 4 months out from Gastric Sleeve and have had numerous complications.. I’ve aske to see Dr Hannoush, but they keep making me see Sara Thompson, his APRN.. I don’t feel they are LISTENING to me..I’m at a loss.
Great bedside manner in my evaluation. Answered all questions was not short or wanted to conclude. A good man when you are not feeling well. My PCP recommended and he was correct in his recommendation. TY Doctor.
I saw Dr Hannoush in Sept 2017 for a surgical consult. From the beginning he was rude, arrogant , condescending and disrespectful. He told me he didn't know what was causing my pain. When I began questioning him on possibilities he pushed his chair backwards and said he felt " threatened " ( for the record I am female 115 lbs) His hair trigger ego response was quite alarming, and I quite honestly have never seen anyone alone a Dr react with such a response. I promptly left as I had seen enough
Dr. Hannoush is excellent... He takes the time to listen to what you have to say and gives a complete examination. He is efficient and speaks with confidence, NOT arrogance as many physicians do. The office staff and his assistants are excellent too... very friendly, polite, and very good at what they do.
