I am not one to typically do reviews but I wouldn’t want anyone else to waste their time and money. I got this gel mani about 4 hours ago. (Seriously, zoom in) terrible right? For starters, to remove my old gel, the lady filed, let my nails wrapped in foil for like 2 minutes and then proceeded to scrape the polish off with her bare fingernails. I guess the rest is history. They were friendly, I’ll give them that.
So let me tell you a story.... it's a long one! On Friday I made an appointment for shellac manicures and a pedicure for Kathie Verwers Perryman and I at Artist Nail in Altoona, Iowa. I got my nails done here yesterday out of sheer convenience as my boyfriend was getting his hair cut and I needed a fill before a trip. I saw the reviews and figured they were exaggerated as most of these tend to be. For once I was wrong. It is one day later and my shellac has already peeled off of two of my nails due to the technical glopping polish on my nails and not keeping them in a proper UV light for long enough.
