This strip-mall shop serves up some of Houston's best homemade ice cream. – In Short One wall of the small shop near the Astrodome is filled with signed celebrity photos--various Dallas Cowboys, Houston Oilers and Carol Burnett--attesting to Hank's charms. Off the Heezy – I really like Hank's Ice Cream. It's a little small ice cream palor on S. Main they serves delicious sweet cream and banana pudding ice cream. You can pay $1.00 for a large scoop ice cream. They are great!
The Best -- The Very Best!!! – Hank and his wife have really put their hearts and souls into this unique Ice Cream Parlour. I am addicted to the Butter Pecan but will try all the flavors eventually -- A smiling face is always there to greet you and service is always first rate. Whew, What A Treat!!! – Words cannot really describe how good the ice cream at Hank's is but I will say this - it is my understanding that the pecans are raosted by the owner himself for that wonderful butter pecan ice cream he creates. Just try it once and you will be a customer for life. The banana pudding ice cream, yes, banan pudding ice cream is wonderful, too. Trust me, you are in for a treat.
Hanks Heaven – Wanna taste *real* ice cream that takes you back to old fashioned summer picnics? Hanks is the place. Parking is a pain (no fault of Hanks -- the shopping center has the weirdest parking lot "rules" I've ever experienced) but one taste of that ice cream and you'll forget the hassle! Trust me, Brenham fans, this is truly "...the best ice cream in the country"!
Deliciosa!!! – Hank's Ice Cream Parlor catered an ice cream social for 250 employees on 7/26 - the ice cream made the event a smash hit!!!! Comments such as - "man, this ice cream is ggggoooood", "can I get some more", "this taste like homemade", "where is the shop located", this is absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend Hank's to cater your ice cream needs!!!! The staff is courteous and efficient!!!
Butter Pecan at its best! – Without a doubt -- the best ice cream I have ever eaten. If you like pecans, his butter pecan is "to die for". The owner is a Real True American with a desire to serve his clients the best possible ice cream in Houston. If you have never tried Hank's Ice Cream, you don't know what you are missing!
