Great american food menu in the historic town square of Goliad Texas! All you can eat chicken and dumplings was delicious.
We had cold appetizers the food was either dry or not cooked all the way had no seasoning at all. Half of the food we ordered was forgotten and they weren't even busy. I had the meatloaf that tasted of nothing but bellpepper. We were not pleased at all
The only thing good was the appetizer platter. The chicken fried steak was small and dry. The Shrimp Alfredo was was watered down noodles. To get a tea refill I had to order a pitcher. For 62 bucks I was robbed. Oh and the mashed patatos were dry you could stick your fork in them and picked them up all at one time.
6/5/16 Had the chicken and dumplings. Real comfort food in a wonderful friendly town. Looking forward to the next time we travel though Goliad.
We came into town late Thursday after a 5 hour drive. Ate here the food was great and the service wonderful! It was so good we're back Friday night! The chicken and dumplings are the best! Where else can you fined this kind of atmosphere !! If your in Goliad make a point to eat here!!!
