Open in the Rush Street bar district since the 1970s, Hangge-Uppe's patrons visit here to "let it all hang out." The drink of choice seems to be beer, either in a bottle or a pint glass. Exciting This place has 80s music on the top floor until 12 and then it turns to hip hop/rap. The bottom floor plays 70s through today all night. Get there early, because the line to get in by 10 is crazy!
RecommendedWent for the first time last night,went straight downstairs where they play lots of 80's music and stayed there until last call!!!! Brought back great memories and never had to go upstairs once,will be back!!!!
Not a good crowd. Personally I would save your money you would save on a cover charge, and go anywhere else. 2 out of 5 stars..they did play awesome music

Do not come to this sketchy place unless you want to get your brand new phone stolen and have ZERO help finding it. On the night of May 24-25 they claimed to have 6 lost phones and blamed it on a pick-pocketer, yet offered no assistance finding my phone. They won't even answer their phone or emails regarding lost items because they have so much theft. I am extremely suspicious that the staff themselves might have something to do with it. On thing is certain: they do not care about their customers or their belongings.
I worked there 20+ years ago as a bouncer and I still recommend it as a fun place to go when you are in the city.
Was ratchet last night and left the bar without my coat and wallet. Totally my fault. These guys were legitimately so cool about it, let me come downstairs, and basically had it waiting for me. Definitely coming back and definitely buying shots for them! THANK YOU!
