The Hangar Hotel was uniquely designed with an exterior appearance of a WWII hangar of the romantic 1940s. The conference center and diner also reflect the style of the era and offer a great space for hosting events or simply for a weekend get-away. Inside the city of Fredericksburg, the Hotel is located only two miles from main street, on South Adams (highway 16 South). The Hotel is adjacent to the runway ramp area, providing excellent viewing of those spectacular flying machines.

Always a great time at the USO style dances with the Lone Star Swing Orchestra...big band - love it!
We love are weekend there the the piano man Dunken was the best the bar staff was great
Great place, friendly staff, the service and drinks were awesome! Highly recommend the bar and hotel! We only needed a room for one night, and they did not charge a 2 night minimum!
Mary the bartender is great with everyone! Love the setting! Fun when it’s quiet and when it’s busy!!
Very 1940's look with little things that make the experience unique. Old suitcases with a Piedmont Airlines luggage tag attached. Even though the airlines wasn't established until 1948.... still pretty neat. Newspaper clippings of that era in addition to little things like the room numbers being stenciled onto the doors.... A bit expensive, but a very nice place to take someone special.
