I'm a new member of 2016-17 Hands on Atlanta Youth Action Council Institute and we're off to a fantastic start! Look for our 2017 Global Youth Service Day project.
Hands On Atlanta helped us with a community event during Black History Month in 2013. We received a plethora of volunteers from Bank of America and other organizations to help the students build, assemble and paint their props. The event was a success and a shoe drive helped to benefit Chris Kids. Hands on Atlanta gave us all we needed and more! They were organized and communicated effectively throughout the whole process.
In my experience as a Civic Volunteer Leader for Hands On Atlanta, every opportunity has allowed me to witness people's lives transform in a very positive way. Every volunteer that I've worked with or organization that we've helped, which included children to seniors, the response has always been rewarding and life changing! Hands On Atlanta is a great organization that transforms our communities!
