From the most complex treatment to the simplest procedure - he is TOPS!
Dr. Handelman is the first dentist that I have gone to and not have been anxious before my appointment.. He is a wonderfully talented dentist. I have had crowns, cavity fillings, and veneers on 8 of my top teeth. Not only is he a good dentist, but I really like him. He cares about his patients. Dr. Handelman is as good as any my wife and I have ever seen. (We are in our 60's.) Very competent, honest and pleasant. A year ago he counseled that a tooth pain was likely due to temporary trauma (e.g., I had bitten down too hard on a nut), and the pain did indeed disappear in a few weeks. He could have easily sold me a tooth repair. He has crowned two teeth at an insurance-negotiated price of $1200 each, which I think is fair. Dr. Handelman is a gem. I was introduced to him about 10 years ago by my kids. He has performed a few procedures for me and my family apart from our regular six months visit for cleaning, etc. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, so he can decide on the best possible course of action for your optimal dental health. Dr Handleman has great people skills and he is a good dentist. His staff is friendly and personable. The hygienist are great and relatively painless.
I like the guy. Personable. Did some nice crown work. Cost is relative to your insurance so this seems like a stupid question. Front desk is helpful. But like most front desks--these folks are not the dentists ya... I will not see anyone else. Damn fine dentist, and I'm a doctor, so that must say something.
