Very mysterious experience, would not recommend anyone experiencing migraines to see him. He new the problem very quickly, didn't have a chance to sit down. He simply and repeatedly said " have headache"....duh! Then without hesitation wanted to start with a series of injections. I was startled as I stared at what appeared to be three or four used syringes lying on the table. Obviously the injections were refused. I changed neurologists. I have had a stroke. The new one gave me more information in my one hour there, than Dr. Han ever did. My new one, checked my vitals and did a nerve test. Found I had Carpal Tunnel and need surgery. I am scheduled for more tests 10/4/11. I really am glad I changed when I did. Dr. Han's suggestion for preventing another stroke was aspirin and green tea. I was placed on Plavix and Zocor by the new doctor. He said I should have been on this the day I first saw Dr. Han. Do your homework......
You can HARDLY understand a word he says along with the fact that he immediatly asks if your on "cocaine". He's not friendly and DOES NOT take his time with you at all.
Han told me in Dec that Medicare was forcing him to stop treating chronic pain in his patients for 6 mnths. At the end of 6 mnths the meds would be restarted. I am disabled, very ill & have chronic pain. It's been 6 mnths. I am being pulled off of all of my meds. & am facing a forced, cold turkey, withdrawal of morphine, w/a bad heart. Han told me to get my PCP to refer me to a new doc. My PCP said that because Han "dismissed" me I was no longer eligible, ever, for pain treatment. he is knowledgeable, but cold as ice.some days he cares others he could care less.
dr. han simply doesnt care about you, nor your pain. i have chronic severe back pain and he put me onto morphine, i didnt like it, so he put me on 10mg hyrdo, he said he would up them because my back has gotten worse, according to the lastest MRI, however when i returned he said he could no longer write me my medicine bc of my insurance, when i questioned him about what has changed with my insurance that he can no longer so do, he THEN replied well its not that, it that over time hydro should gradually heal your back pain. dR.hAN WAS HELPFUL WITH HIS BOTOX INJECTIONS FOR MY HUSBANDS MIGRAINE. THE INJECTIONS MADE HIS HEADACHES GO AWAY FOR 6 MONTHS. NOW WE LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA AND MY HUSBAND IS BACK TO FIGHTING HEADACHES EVERYDAY WHICH MAKE HIM VERY SICK. I CANT FIND ANYONE HERE WHO DOES THE INJECTIONS. I WOULD SURELY DRIVE TO CHATTANOOGA TO SEE DOCTOR HAN AGAIN FOR THE BOTOX. HE IS A GOOD DOCTOR AND VERY UNDERSTANDING. WE ARE SAD TO BE SO FAR AWAY FROM HIS PRACTICE
Dr. Han hardly looked at my med. history, barely examined me, and diagnosed me with migraines. His first suggestion for treatment were heavy narcotics. I asked for a second suggestion. He shot me up with steroids that did not relieve my pain at all. I wasted time and money visiting this doctor.
Doctor,ahha,han insisted on putting me on morphin and back injections for the treatment of fibromyalgia. when I refused he became irate with me and prescribed a new medication similar to percocet that when I went to fill was a four hundred dollar script. I am disabled and receive seven hundred a month to live on. Returning to his office he angrily through a script of regular percocet at me. I do not want heavy narcotics for this disease.
