Don't trust them – I was promised a credit of $633 and told I could "take a few months off without payments"...not only did I not ever see the credit, I was still expected to make payments on time. In addition, in just one month, they tacked on $117 in interest and I wasn't even late on a payment--I have never been late with them! They treat customers terribly and are not sympathetic at all if you ever have a problem. All they care about is money and lying to you!

Poor Buisness Practices – Please read and if you had this s ame experience please respond. I am looking for anyone that has a loan with hrfc my husband and i have had a loan with them for the past 2years we have always paid our loan on time. Stalkers – I have never experienced such harrasment in my life. Tracey has called my cell phone and home for over 20 times in one day. When she didn't get a reply she called most of my references and told them that she needed a contact number regarding my car payment. She drilled them as if they signed a contract. I told them because the car needed major repairs from the first 30 days that I was running behind but will not go over 30 days. This wasn't good enough which I understand. Hrf – All I had were problems, they were not understanding if you became sick and not get paid. I wouldn't recommend dealing with them.

IT HAS BEEN SO NICE DEALING WITH HRF – I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH HAMPTON ROADS FINANCE. MRS. K. CANDO IS SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON TO DEAL WIH, SHE WILL HELP YOU ANYWAY SHE CAN. I'M GLAD THAT I HAVE HAD THE OPPURTUNITY OF WORKING WITH HER. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME THROUGH EVERYHING. I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. It has been more than just the ride. I have truely enjoyed working with everyone espically Ms. Jones. Every one at Hampton Rosds Finance work with me to see this loan through. No one have ever been rude or too out spoken. Every one has been kind and more understanding than I could have ever ask for. This is one ride I have enjoyed. I will tell everyone I know thats thinking about getting anything to call the ones that stand above all the rest. Hampton Roads Finance love you. It has been more than just a ride.

STOP and READ – my credit is bad and I needed a car. This group took a chance on me.At first is t was hard payments so high. I went to them and asked them what i could do. I changed my date (yes I paid the difference for the new due date) I then asked if I could spilt the payments up. Yes , I set up auto draft, so I would never be late. And my payments are 100.00 less then what I had at first. ONE OFFICE – OPEN MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9-5 FOR PAYMENTS. 24 - 7 FOR LATE FEES AND INTEREST. TO BAD THE RECORDING THAT CALLS EVERYDAY CAN'T TAKE A "VERY IMPORTANT PAYMENT" AND SAVE THE VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE. ALMOST LOOK FORWARD TO MY JOHNNY CASH MESSAGES, NOT.

Great people and service – I financed my car with HRFC and can say that I have never had a better experience with a loan. The manager Mr. Rich was very helpful when I ran into a problem. I made my payments relatively on time and they reported my account to the credit bureau which helped me increase my credit score. If you need car financing and have had previous credit problems, use HRFC.
