Enjoyed my stay at this Hampton Inn. Clean room, staff was nice and accommodating, and parking garage was convenient, despite the charge. Was in town for a NBA game, which was about a 12 min Uber ride. Although we had a car it was centrally located near shops , stores , and restaurants. Only giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the price I was charged was over $100 more than what I reserved my room for. However , the manager did refund me once I brought it to their attention, glad I paid attention to my emailed receipt.... read more
Here’s the positive: spacious and clean room and probably the best hotel bed we’ve ever slept on. Great location with a shuttle to Union Station and in an area that has great vibes with some really good restaurants. Now the negative: they are either very short-handed or not trained well, or both. When we checked in and went to our room, there was no waste basket in the bathroom. The location here is phenomenal The views from the room as long as you are New York avenue facing or pretty much anywhere as long as you're not facing the other hotel that's on the other side which is a Homewood but this hotel is amazing it's a little on the pricey side but you giving up nothing because for the value and the location you have union market right down the street and walking distance it's a very robust area so you will have a great time oh tend to stay in this hotel again
We did have issue's on our stay here, but I give a 5 star due to the employees. They were all great and friendly. The manager Amanda was amazing. She was very apologetic, but she handled the situations. She is a doer. She even got me and my husband an Uber because we didn't know how to do it and it wasn't taking our card. My fault. The staff made the stay. We overcame. Parking is to high. These employees need kudos, they were friendly and helpful.
