The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the stay was peaceful. The only downfalls are that the building is very old and could use some renovation. Every time I washed my hands in the bathroom sink, there was an awful smell from the drain even though the drain was not clogged at all. The one entrance in to the parking lot is around a blind curve where people are driving 45. I actually saw a vehicle get hit trying to pull out when I stayed there 2 weeks ago. Stayed for one night in June. We needed to be close to Ball State and this fit the bill. Arrived after a long drive and we just wanted to rest. Unfortunately constant door slamming made it impossible; whether the problem was thin walls, loud doors, or rude guests, I'm not sure, but for a couple hours in the early evening there was never any quiet.
