I had a great experience staying at Hampton Inn & Suites Keene. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming from the moment I arrived. One thing I really appreciated was the location — it was in a nice, quiet area which made the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Reasonable price but several things were not working properly. It took 3 times to get the room key programmed right. I suspect the lock on the door is old and needs to be replaced. And the toilet didn't flush properly. Overall I think maintenance is not being done well.

The rooms are smaller than many Hampton inn and suites. Shower was great. Rooms were in disrepair and ours had a smoky smell that seemed to come from a heater. We had to move rooms three times because the first three had no heat. The woman who greeted us the first night was excellent but the manager was not friendly at all. The breakfast was typical Hampton but they did have fresh fruit which was a nice change. No the greatest Hampton but better than the Brattleboro one .
