This place is old and unkempt. The lobby is dim and the carpet looks extremely old and moldy upon entry. The hotel is wedged between 2 other hotels on a back road in an “okay” area. In my room the coffee pot was arms reach from the toilet (anyone else find that slightly gross??). It has a strong smell of cologne…so strong that I thought I was going to look around the corner and see someone…after staying there the 1st night, I realized the reason for the strong smell is to overcompensate for the smell of mold in the rooms. Grat customer service, clean and quiet rooms, all at an affordable price.
The hotel is pretty dated and had some issues, the sink leaked our entire trip (4 days) and we were told a work order was put in but never saw anyone. My Apple air pods were left in the room by accident when we checked out and I reached out to the hotel, I was told if they found them they would call me to send them back, I have received several notifications that they been “seen” through find my apple device and haven’t been able to contact the hotel. Generally it was fine. The front desk person was very helpful. I did switch rooms due to the first room having trees up against & blocking almost the entire window. The second room looked out onto the wall of an apartment building very closely situated to the hotel - I could see into their windows & had to keep my blinds closed. The room itself was very clean; the bed was very comfortable. The elevator carpet appeared very old, un-vacuumed and very dirty.
