It was a place to stay. Rooms were cramped. 300 something middle schoolers caused noise and you can hear everything. The rooms were also slightly dirty.
It's aight. Service was great. Good people.
Beds were clean and comfortable. Elevator stopped working. Decor and furnishings were were slightly worn. Breakfast was nice.
We checked in very late at of driving in town for the IU/Ohio state game, and despite the hour, Joe at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were settled. He took the time to explain the WiFi codes and even showed us exactly how to adjust the heat in our rooms so we would be comfortable. This hotel worked for my needs. The staff was courteous and the rooms were clean. Microwaves in the room was a definite plus. (NOTE: I was told that the suites are being remodeled.) Noise from the pipes in our room, repeated key issues, elevator issues (only 1 worked), and the cold lobby (if taking advantage of the breakfast buffet be sure to bring a jacket) were minor issues that need attention.
