The hotel layout is beyond crazy. You stop at a makeshift front desk. After checking in, you basically walk to the other end of the motel for the elevator. The hallway traffic is so loud. Doors slamming, people hanging out and talking in the halls all night long. THE NO SLEEP INN!
It was under construction while we were there. Pool was nice. Room was clean but the phone in the room had sticky syrup on it. Also they ran out of alot of the soap in the room and didn't fill it up before we Checked in. They had a good breakfast too.
During my stay on Feb 22-23 2025 with my family accompanying my daughter and her team competing locally we incurred a few issues. One being safety of the hotel. It is in disrepair and being renovated which was not disclosed when booking. Insulation is exposed above the pool area. The parking lot was not salted and icy which caused another person in our group to break her elbow. The locks on the doors did not automatically lock behind you. During my recent stay at Hampton, the front desk attendant initially attempted to charge me $100 for two dogs for a one-night stay. She first stated the pet fee was $60, but when I pointed out that the posted rate was $50, she then claimed it was actually $50 per dog. Additionally, my room was not ready at the designated check-in time of 3 PM. I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes while she called housekeeping, who were unable to confirm its status.
