Everyone was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was pleasantly firm, and the water pressure good - everything I hoped for.
Really just wanted to give a shoutout to Jake working the overnight. At 2am I went out for coffee and gas and he was awake, pleasant and at the desk ready to go. Same at 415 am when I checked out. In my travels where I’m in hotels 4-5 nights per week it’s rare to find someone who’s awake and at the ready when checking out for early flights. It definitely makes life easier so a big thumbs up to Jake.
The rooms were clean and generally nice. However, a faulty air conditioner led to a loud and constant noise. There was no manager on the property and the staff were not empowered to change my room so I sat in the lobby writing this review while the staff waited for the manager to respond to their text and get me a new room. Sigh. I guess they were also trying to find a room. Why don't people empower their staff? The staff were great and tried to do their best. This is a management problem.
