Family was evacuated due to wildfire, needed 2 rooms but the credit card holder wasn't staying. No problem. Even had pet rooms. Staff, from reservation, called the hotel directly, to check in, to check out were helpful, caring and courteous. Highly recommend, will stay again.

Arrived Kamloops, checked into Hampton Inn by Hilton chosen by Rocky Mountaineer, not by our tour company Scenic Tours, not what we expected of Gold Leaf top dollar level on the Rocky Mountaineer, already changed rooms cause of the smell, stretching it to be 3 star level at best. Shame on both Hilton, Rocky Mountaineer and Scenic Tours, will not recommend.

I booked over the phone i asked for a king suite with a large tub to soak. Looking forward to a long soak after a 10 hour drive. Once i got to the room the was only a shower. I noticed the shower floor was pretty dirty it could easily be cleaned with a scrub brush and some heavy cleaner. I went to front desk and asked about the bathtub situation, turn out there aren't any king rooms with bathtubs in the hotel. That was my first 10 minutes.
