Edit - after they seen this review they reached out immediately for a discussion and made amends. Things happen sometimes and they were quick to action. I'm sure they'll do better and I will stay again in the future and check that there's improvement. Bumping service to 5 star. - Dirty run down room. I was shocked at the overall excellent quality of the experience given how affordable the room rate was. Decent breakfast too.
Great hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff. Small pool, has a fun waterslide and a hot tub. Awesome place to stay with kids, and very reasonable price.
Stayed for 2 nights. First night was fine but second night there was a large thumping noise either from next door or upstairs. I thought it could be the hockey team boys that we saw were staying here but it continued from midnight to 9 am randomly and loudly. When I called the front desk at 3:00 am, they denied it could be some thing mechanical. Worst sleep in a long time: a total of 3 hours with my head at foot of bed and ear plugs in with pillow over my head and fan on high.
