I stayed here the night of 1/17/26 but almost didn't take the chance. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but I took a chance since a lot of the bad reviews seemed hyperbolic and almost comical - gotta say, I'm SO glad I did! The price advertised online was 118 and ended up costing us like 147 somehow, but the room was super clean, the guy at the front desk was nice and didn't charge for our pet after I asked about the price discrepancy so it worked out. This hotel smells like a urinal. Old smelly and dirty. I had the ick the entire time I was there.

The most affordable Hilton in Bakersfield. The rooms are clean and everything inside is what you would expect from Hilton. However like many parts of bakersfield, the first night we stayed there, there was a guy with a cart who appeared homeless but was selling drugs right outside the window. I was a little worried about the car but there was no incident and they had security guards out in the parking lot at night.
At first, I was skeptical about this hotel because of the mixed reviews. However, I’m glad I stayed here, as I had a decent experience overall. I booked a king-size room, and everything looked new and clean, although I did notice some spiderwebs in the corner of the air conditioner while unpacking. The bed was comfortable and soft.
